have any of you ever gone on a weekend retreat type thing with your DH/DW ? Which one? Not really looking for counseling but am looking for a fun fall in love again get away type thing with dh.

No, I have not. I think it is great that your DH is open to that. Is this something thru a church? I hope you all feel renewing of bonding and have some great fun.
