possible job- keep your fingers crossed

My next door neighbor (a teacher) let me know about a job offer at the elementary school near me where BD4 could go eventually if I stay in the vicinity when I move. It's for a teacher's aid and is 30 hrs a week. It would leave me available pretty close to all the time she is out of school except Fridays I would need a sitter. BS 15 could get her off the bus, and I should be able to either get her on the bus or drop her off at preschool, depending on what time I would start (the school starts later than SD's preschool). It doesn't require a BA, but the fact I have one and could therefore also qualify as a sub may be something that puts me above other candidates.

They posted it today bc I have been looking non-stop on the school website where they have job listings. I have three days to apply (through their application no need to get a resume together for this one so no pressure.)

If I get it, then I could relax and maybe just look for a part time job on the weekends I don't have BD for the summer in order to make some extra $ to put back.

This is one of the two dream job situations I was hoping to have pop up. I'm so excited and will be filling out the application after BD goes to bed tonight and mailing it out tomorrow!

Wish me luck!

It's a teacher's aid position.

She also told me the regional campus of my alma matter is hiring a theatre teacher. But I doubt I qualify with a BA only, unless I was a grad student. Not gonna go for a masters in Theatre. I may have to look into a MA in Ed though so I can do that one day. That was my original plan.

But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous
