BM's superpower is defying logic.
DH called her yesterday to wish ss9 a happy brithday and I don't think she knew exactly where ss was, I think she may have even been out drinking.
We had a party for Ss9 last weekend but DH wanted to call him on his birthday to say happy brithday again. BM was already very unhappy with him having called Ss9 the day before as well to check on him after he begging to go home with me at school during my usual Monday reading sesson. We have been having issues with ss9 not wanting to go to BM's and apparently she didn't take it well, hearing that as he out it 'he just wanted to spend more time with us.'
Any way BM didn't pick up but called DH back sometime later to see what he wanted this time. DH told her he wanted to talk to SS and say happy bday. Well BM said SKids weren't home they were out with her mom shopping for bday presents, but DH say her mom at the store on Sunday where she was shopping for bday presents. He didn't say that though just asked for SS to call him when he got home. DH waits awhile the. Calls her back at 7pm (it's a school night mind you.). BM says that she is just on her way to get him from her mom's, who lives aways out of town, if they had been shopping it would have made more sense to have the dropping off at BM's house. DH also hears the sound of glasses clanging in the background. DH hangs up and waits some more at 7:30 SA finally calls him back, on speaker phone. DH says happy bday then asks how shopping went, silance... DH asks a different question and Ss explains how BM took him out of school today for lunch, DH gets a little annoyed - that is discouraged at the school as it creates jealously amung peers. I talked to him briefly but I think he was watching tv so I told him the MIL had been trying to get a hold Of him as well to call her.
Later MIL called DH to ask why they he'll is wrong with BM. Lol
The lunch thing wa a nice little treat for him as I suspect he doesn't get to see his mom much becuase of stupid stuff like this, which may be why he doesn't like going over there. But why would t you want to spend the evening with your son on his bday? Even if she had to work late, not sure where tha glass sound comes in to play there, she has an office job, but I am sure if you told your boss it was your kids bday they would help you out somehow. By the time he got home I imagine it was bed time.
She is so random.
