I normally stay off FB during my work hours (but not ST }:)), however I have a friend that works with me that was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the appendix in August. She's young (early thirties) with a stb2 y/o girl. She created a FB page for support during her difficult time.

She's been in DC at a special clinic where they performed a full hysterectomy, removed her large intestine, removed all remaining tumors from her abdomen and abdominal wall. Finishing with a chemo was of her abdominal cavity.

Holy crap.

She's been recovering there for the last month, they just posted she (and her DH) are at the airport and is finally coming home today! I just want to cry a river of tears for her. She is one of the strongest people I know and has been fighting this every step of the way.
