How do I approach DH with BOOT CAMP?

I found a camp for troubled kids that isn't too far from home, a couple hours away actually. They deal with children like SS, including counseling. This program is 28 days to 9 weeks long.

Now how do I bring it up to DH without getting into a fight? I brought it up last summer, which didnt go over so well.

Can you find on in Michigan? I have a 17 year old step-son who is traveling the wrong path a lot of the time. the only problem is that we are on a fixed income. Can anyone help?

I'm not afraid of SS YET but I do fear that as he gets older he'll become physical.

I think I am going to take DH to dinner and tell him in a public environment. That way he wont explode. Maybe if I can show its a fun and great program with an outdoor/camping type theme he'll buy into it. It's not a lie, it has a lot of hands on outdoor programs.
