I am NOT washing their sheets any more!

purpledaisies's picture

I am so sick of washing their clothes and sheets and blankets only for them to leave them in the floor! since the laundry is in their room they end up back in the laundry! There is a basket completely full of their clean clothes and they are still there even after repeated times of telling them to hang them up! I will just put them back on their bed still folded by the way!

Ewww! Not looking forward to the tween-teen years with my resident SKids...I know it's coming though!

I don't do skids' laundry. How old are they? My own children were responsible for their laundry from about 10 years old, the skids get the exact same treatment.

Well since they don't live with us I normally do and put it on their bed for them to put up. However for some reason I try to keep their beds made and everything but it all seems to end up in the floor. Not anymore I'm done. I know now that they are the ones doing it and no one else. I thought maybe it was b/c the WII and stuff is in there and my kids play it. I know that my kids aren't the ones taking their sheets and blankets off their beds and that they are doing as I saw it when they slept in the other boys room.

I never did skids laundry. The towels could just lay there and stink! Who knew that I could just send them to Gir when they got like that and she'd bake on the odor some more? Hehehehe. (Sorry, Crayon, I am sassy today. Stopped taking XBF's verbal email abuse and deleted everything yesterday and might now be able to move on.)

I think once they're old enough to do laundry they should do their own. My kids do. It's my responsibility to provide them with clothes and laundry facility, but I am not their maid. I just don't get why we should for skids. Does it make you a bad parent for not doing it after a certain age? If they're too young to do the laundry, then DH can take care of that.

XBF's youngest was a grubby little pig, and never bathed that I could tell when she was over, and I was amazed that BF didn't do anything about that.
