Does anyone have a DH who goes away on visitation weekends to stay overnight in order to see skids due to distance issues?

Sometimes. My ss lives 2
Sometimes. My ss lives 2 hours away. He visits eow. Our families also live in ss town. Usually dh brings ss here. But once ss had some school event on a sat morning. Rather than drive back & forth he stayed there with his mom (MIL). This upcoming weekend there is an event dh wants to attend so he and ss will stay with MIL again and the kids and I will stay here. I don't mind because I don't have to see ss!
