Not so bad
I have to say that in the 3 1/2 months since SS19 moved in he has grown a lot. Maybe I should say matured. He got a job at a convenience mart but he's only getting about 20 hrs a week so he applied for a warehouse job and goes for orientation today. Fingers crossed that he will stay on the right track. I still have to get on him about being a little sloppy but we're trying to make the best of it all. However, I'm still counting the days until July 1 by which time he needs to be on his own so his mom and I can resume our regular life.
Things could be worse.

That's great that he's
That's great that he's showing the initiative. Hope he stays on track to launch!
You are correct. Things could
You are correct. Things could be a lot worse, lol, i mean you've read the stores on here. My adult skid SD19 is doing great. She is at community college working on getting in to nursing school. She works at a hospital weekends for little pay as a resume builder and works nights at a restaurant to pay her car note and of course for her hair and nails etc.
She still has a room here but rarely stays here as grandmas house is closer to her work and she is tired at night. Of all the skids to leave why her? Other than being kinda messy in the kitchen occasionally she is no bother. SD16, i only can pray that she launches by 19. She's a monster to live with. Even her bio mom and my mother in law the saint dont want her.
That's great that he's taking
That's great that he's taking action! It could be worse, so remain grateful of the positive steps that he's taking.
