Sick kid..... again!!
This year was DH's year to have SD9 for Memorial Day weekend. Well, the call came on Friday that SD9 was sick and wanted to wait until Saturday to come over. DH called first thing on Saturday and was told by BM that SD9 was still sick. DH told her he would come get her so he could at least spend time with her. He told her that SD9 can lay on our couch just as easy as she can lay on BM's. BM told him that SD9 was too worried about having an accident at DH's house and she didn't want to come. Sunday morning rolled around and DH called again. He told BM he was going to pick SD9 up. BM said he couldn't because she was taking SD9 to urgent care at noon and she would call him back. No call back. DH called Monday morning to see if he could pick her up for at least the day. Answer - no.
So DH texted BM (because he wanted her answer in writing) and asked if he could pick up SD9 on the next weekend. BM would not text back. Instead, she called DH and told him that she did not want to give up one of her "good" weekends with SD9 in exchange for a sick one. What? DH never asked you to keep her. He is her parent too and asked daily to come get her and was told no every time. Now the attorney is saying that there is nothing we can do because DH agreed to let her stay home.
The point isn't what's legal, it's what's right. Now because of the summer visitation schedule, DH won't see SD9 for two more weeks. I would never do that to my EX-husband. What a cow!!!!

Sorry, I never understand
Sorry, I never understand people freaking out over things like this. SD didn't want to come over because she was sick. Big deal. Document the fact that he tried daily to go get her, was refused and move on.
