Maybe tomorrow will be better?
OK, So this morning started like every day this week. The kiddos and I are all sick. Strep, mono and fifth. I was hopeful last night school and work would resume today but the kiddos are still blah and I am too. To the point, I called my husband to let him know we are all sick and staying home again. And suggested he should call the vinegar and water cleaner to let her know that the illness is holding on and no school today for anyone. ( Quick reference: Crabby (rhymes with her name and much easier than long winded insults) picks up her 1 Tuesday and Thursday from school and hangs out with him for 3 hours and then meets my husband at the dunkin donuts because of her unpredictable and dramatic outburst and every other weekend she brings him to her mother's or her step mother's house. Yeah she doesn't have a home/apartment or any stable place to call home and I quote "Doesn't see a point in renting a two bedroom place for him to have a bedroom for a few days a week")
Well since today is Thursday, She informs my husband she will send someone to pick him up it's her day and "per the parenting agreement" that means that we must obey her every last demand. When it was pointed out he is sick and shouldn't be going anywhere unless it's to the doctors. But if she wants to meet at the DD to get him after work he will meet her. So what's the logical thing for her to do? Wait and meet at the DD to pick him up for her few hours or call the police and tell them she is concerned for her son's safety. Yup totally call the police and have three officers show up to check on him. So, Husband goes to the door and after the police see that he is sick but not in harm in anyway. So now we have three sick kiddos confused and worried why did the police come to the house? And I'm so ANGRY! I'm so annoyed! Seriously. However I am amazed that nothing can be done to the one who calls the police and makes bogus statement/stories up to get the police to go out to check on nothing. And after we explain the whole story and the text she sent the police inform us, NOPE they don’t deal with “civil” issues…GAH!! OK I've vented and think I'm good now. Thanks
