I just received a call from SS7's school counselor - she tried calling DH but he didn't answer. She says, SS7 is in her office because he's been going around telling other kids he's going to kill himself all day long. She says he plans to stab himself with pencil lead.

She believes that SS7 doesn't do well with change and doesn't know how to express his feelings. SS7's teacher has been unexpectedly out all week and there is a substitute in his class. There is also a new student that came into his class after winter break (which is when a lot of his trouble started). The counselor believes that this threat of killing himself is just attention seeking but she is required to notify SS7's parents. SS7 told her that nobody likes him.

SS7 had to be removed from his class and put in a seperate class until his teacher returns.
