My DH hasn't seen his bratty sd15 since xmas. When she promised him over and over and over she was going to call him during the 2 weeks she was out of school. Did she call, did she text.. nope. Not once.

In the time between then and now, he's been texting with her and he responses are really hit or miss. She might or might not text back.
He's doing exactly what he said he wouldn't and planning on going to see her this weekend while staying with his bro & sil so that he doesn't have to drive so far back and forth. Because the princess wants it this way.

She's made it clear she's not coming back here. I'm just counting my days down til I take over "her" room as a guest & craft room.

I'm glad that I'm not being dragged with him to see her since I have a social commitment that I made last week. Shoot, at this point, I'll not place any bets on whether he even goes or not. I won't be surprised if she comes down "sick" before now and Saturday!

I'm trying my best to stay out of his issues. I don't even ask about her. I just don't care. I know that's sad but it's just how I feel. Actually, I even forget that she exists from time to time. She is so not a part of our lives anymore since she's decided she's too good for us.

My DH did mention that he feels almost like a jilted or rejected boyfriend because he keeps putting himself out there and inviting princess but she keeps turning him down. This man is not like this in his normal life. He's fit, very attractive and very intelligent. And he has a good job and a great education and a beautiful and intelligent wife!!
Why would he keep submitting himself to this torture?? I just don't know. My kids have never treated me the way this brat has treated him. UGH!! Ok rant over, I can keep a straight face now when he comes home!
