Stressed to the max!

Yesterday was payday. I only get paid once a month. My check was lower than I estimated (and I always guess low to give myself a little cushion). After paying bills, and buying a grocery store gift card (we've done this for a couple years now...ensures we ALWAYS have food money), and dog food, we only have $111.00 left. I don't know how we're going to make it through the month. There's NEVER been this little money left for the month. NEVER. I already had my student loans deferred for a few months and I'm not paying Hubby's child support. I don't know what we're going to do. I pay more in gas than $111 every month. I'm freaking out a little bit. This is the lowest pay check I have ever gotten.

I would take the bus but my job wouldn't allow it (I do case work for developmentally disabled individuals and in cases of neglect or abuse have to be at their homes ASAP...thankfully for their sake and mine that doesn't happen horribly often). I have meetings on an almost daily basis away from the office this month, ranging from just a couple miles away to upwards of 15-20 miles one way. I do get reimbursed for gas, but unfortunately I won't see that money until the middle of May and March was a slow month for meetings so I will only likely get a mileage check of $20 or less.

Ugh I know the feeling. I have been working 11 hour days to help and I am totally exhausted. Its frustrating.

I've been there. Money problems are the worst ones to have. People say money doesn't buy happiness, I say just try me. Bet I could be real happy as a millionaire! Do you think your parents, family could loan you any money to make it through this?

I know the most important thing is to not freak out. I know it's a real freak out moment, but you're gonna get through this. You always do right? Start the "fix it" in your brain and see what you can come up with.

I bet I could be a lot less stressed out as a millionaire! First item of business when I hit the lottery is to hire an account to pay bills for me Smile

Crud! We've been there a few times since we moved! 20USD for food/gas, etc for a week and hubby is in sales spending gas money every day! I ate a can of corn a couple of days...others I ate nothing! As long as my kiddo had food...DH took emgcy vc so he did not have to put gas in his car...I am so sorry...
