Got SD14's grades today....horrible! :(

She has two B's, a C, and two F's. I'm really disappointed. She always did well in school until her mom divorced her DH for the 2nd time, moved her to her Gma's house and stopped parenting her. (BM's XDH was the primary disciplinarian) She has pretty much had free reign for the last two years and it is so apparent. Now being a freshmen is when she really needs to step up. I thought she got that. Apparently not. Bummer.

wow...how exciting...a freshman and only 14! I just saw loser's online grades...a 17yr old freshman, with mostly Ds and a couple of Fs...year to graduate 2015... lol at age 21!

my ss is 15, a freshman, online grades are straight F's. got caught red handed last week skipping school and that night was at the skatepark. refuses to come see his dad this weekend cause he knows he's gonna hear it.

Ah yes. A percentage of the SD14 population goes completely brain dead due to following FB/twitter/etc and only paying attention to what their friends are doing. I'm betting most of these SD14's having guilty daddys.

Welcome to the club. I have an SD15 now, we are awaiting her grades in the next week. I think she is on an "upswing" and will be getting good grades this quarter. I don't expect it to last though.

SS7 gets straight A's thanks to my tireless efforts over the past few years. BM never read to him and would just ignore him and put him on a computer to play unmonitored on the Internet. Not on child friendly sites, like Disney or something, but sites where he played as a man chasing his wife around trying to stab her. When we told BM about how good he's doing and that it is because we take such great care of him, she said "no, it ain't y'all he's just smart." God forbid she give me any f'n credit.

While he gets straight A's in academics, he has a shit conduct grade. This is no coincidence, I have many records to prove this pattern. Whenever he has contact with her, his conduct grade tanks. He gets behavior reports, detentions, even suspension. She started having supervised visits in late August. The day after each visit he gets at least a behavior report. She cancelled 3 visits out of 8 and on those weeks his behavior was ok. The teachers say that 9x out of 10 the violence/offense is towards a girl. Not that I'm an expert, although I did take some psych classes in college lol, I think he takes his anger out of these girls who he can hurt since he can't hurt the one girl he's angry at.

I'm constantly trying to get Dh to nip his behavior issues in the bud now as I fear for how bad it could get when he gets into his teens. Jail, being severely beaten up, or even killed, all seem like quite possible outcomes for his future if he doesn't get in line soon. My mom even bought us the Total Transformation program for over $300 and Dh has barely listened to any of the CDs let alone put anything into practice. The frustrating thing is everything the program says is everything I've been telling him and trying to teach him for years.

Those are much better grades than Venus De Milo (think: In Living Color) SD stb 13.

Four Fs (all core subjects including "AIS" or "special help" here in NYS) 1 A (in gym) 1 B (in chorus)

Comments: "Incomplete assignments/assignments not being turned in (several zeroes)"

"Better behavior needed in class"

"Needs to spend time outside of classes reinforcing subject matter"

(yeah, right. The Behemoth doesn't allow her BFF daughter to do anything she doesn't want to like brushing teeth, showering, doing homework)
