Do you ever get a "drama-gram"?
A drama-gram is pronounced to rhyme with mammogram and is even more uncomfortable and not nearly as good for your heath. A drama-gram is a text, call or email that interrupts your vacation, fun time or privacy with an "emergency" communication from BM or SKs. Any real emergencies are self-induced, usually.
We were just out of town on a business-pleasure trip somewhere really fun when early a.m. we get a call from BM about an acquaintance who killed himself back in DH's town. Yes, tragic although he wasn't a close family friend, but BM, crying and carrying on of course, HAD to let us know because "SS will want to talk to you about it." SS had worked with the person's father this summer. Well, it was a full 10 hours later before DH caught up to SS due to school and other activities. And SS was sad, but fine. WTF?
We've had others, including SD calling to let DH know his vehicle (that she stole the keys to) had overheated while we were 1500 miles away on vaca. Our first anniversary was marred with a SS court date that DH chose to miss (due to BM not getting SS out of bed for school and also the 5 month secret of another arrest for pot).

Let me tell ya, have had
Let me tell ya, have had numerous over the years from BM. Week and half before DH and I got married, BM and new H had MAJOR fight in front of SD's, w/BM putting SD in front of her for protection. Cops called in, DH called at 4AM to come p/up SD's or would be contacting CPS. BM left H for few mos then, and DH made arrangements that she only to see a day here and there w/no overnights for a while. SO we had to scramble for someone to watch then while we could go on our honeymoon.
Then there was the time BM was watching my house---DH OOT, I had OB appt (5 mos preg). Saw BM across the street, had to call SIL and cops, as I had to go to OB appt. My BP was off the charts and OB made me wait there to calm down.
But the icing on cake was 3 years ago. DH was served for Contempt and Custody THE DAY I DELIVERED OUR LAST BK. There we are, in hospital with DH stressed out over going to court, AGAIN. There has always been some sort of DRama-gram w/our BM---the attention has to be on her (BPD), so if it isn't, she has to make it!!!!
