SD20 got DH to give her $$ when she came out for her cameo visit

I looked at the bank statement online & saw that DH took out sk's for lunch & dinner at expensive restaurants over the weekend & he even gave SD20 $50. (When we go out for dinner he looks at me like how much did you contribute) All this spending was down on borrowed credit. DH acts like he is disney dad...showering them with $$. However, he doesnt have it to give! This is why I keep my $$ seperate from ours. He just got thru telling me last week that he wasnt cutting checks anymore. I guess on the bright side he didnt give her the car she wants...so thats something positive.

Depending on what SD is doing with her life, I don't see it as necessarily an awful thing that he spent some money on her.

A few years ago I was in college, and whenever my parents came to visit, they would take me out to lunch. Now, they didn't get me anything like a car...my parents told me that until I graduated college, my full-time job was school. Of course, I had to do my job well, and I did, so that I got a full scholarship. I believe they just looked at it like my job wasn't going to start paying for another four years, and they would give me treats until it did. Now, I take them out to dinner.
