*Le sigh*

I'm fresh out of melatonin (I would have taken quadruple the dosage to knock myself before they arrived so I could be in denial that they're here and this is currently the state of my life every lovely Friday eve) 

I know it's probably going to be an uphil battle getting them to clean after themselves so rather than power struggle with their militant-to-me yet bend-over-backward-to-those-skids Disneyland dad, I plan to book myself solid ALL day Saturday and Sunday and avoid all of them as much as possible.

Anyone want to trade homes for the weekend LOL?

The silver lining is I will be taking my kid for college planning travel next weekend and I get to completely avoid them AND the male oppressor. 

I will actually be kid - free alltogether as I send my kiddo off to stay in the dorms for a weekend. 

It's gonna be a blissful weekend that can't come soon enough.

Shocker!

Feral Skids made their own breakfast, cleared dishes from the sink (upon request), and did their own laundry

I highly believe this dude's trifling ex-wife is training them better than his deluded ("I'm so great of a dad that I'm better than my ex") disneyland self......really pitiful but at least they're getting the picture that unless they have jobs to pay for maids then they will ALWAYS be expected to clean up after/for themselves.

IDGAF if its weekend, holiday break, summer break, etc.....Unless it's your birthday or you are legitimately sick then the expectation stands.

trow there left out stuff in said box. Each gasbag pick up day said box gets put to the curb.  End of stuff .

With the melatonin.  If you take too much, it can harm your retinas.

Apparently my steps "unload the dishwasher" and "do their own laundry' at their home but when asked to do it here, I was met with huge conflict.

 

Yesterday at midnight SS15 remembered that he needed some clothes cleaned before leaving for his summer trip paid by dad. I was asked if I could wash. I didnt understand why I am washing underwear of a 15yo boy but I did it because I knew it would cause conflict. Results: finished washing and folding at 2am. SS15 was sitting on the couch playing video games all night until 4am...

SS21 then 16 told me that after I grocery shop and cook for him, his only responsibility was to wash his fork and plate. He also gave me a ride to the store a couple of times and requested gas money....I am shopping and cooking for everyone, yet the steps feel that they are doing me a favour if they clean up after themselves

 

Last year I made SS16 (now 17) and SS14 (now 15) clean their toilet and i had to show them how to use clorox gel and the toilet brush. When asked if they do this at home, they told me they never had and usually BM2 does these things for them....

 

Weird upbringing... You guessed it they are all drop outs and unemployed bums on their mothers couches except the youngest (I give it a year before he drops out)

You cant change anything about the way children treat you if their parents are ok with it

 

I believe that if we traded homes, most STalkers would be sent to an insane asylum for a psychotic breakdown lool
