"Pretend to be happy for one night?"

SD11 has gotten on my last nerve.

I'm beyond tired of SD11. She is miserable, moody, sneaky, extremely passive aggressive, and just NOT fun to be around. She LOVESSSS being miserable. She loves trying to get company for her miserable pity party too. "Misery loves company"

I have entired disengaged from her. To the point of not speaking to each other. The feeling is clearly mutual.

She will get extremely unhappy and almost depressed if something doesn't go her way, or if she gets any kind of criticism, or even being asked to do something..Like her chores etc.. MIL took us all out to dinner Monday night to the Olive Garden. SD11 was depressed and miserable the entire time because we didn't go where she wanted to go. Oh WELL! Get over it! Not your choice, child! She was just being very unpleasant and a party pooper while at dinner and MIL leaned over, looked at SD11 and said "Could you please PRETEND to be happy for one night?!" SD11 looked so shocked. It was great! DH just smiled at SD. Of course, MIL made it worse lol

I leaned over the table and told SD to stop being rude and unpleasant and if she had a problem with the food, she needs to speak up. SD didn't like that either.

MIL offered to take us to the movies after dinner and we went. As we were leaving dinner SD looked over to DH and said "I want to sit by ONLY YOU at the movies" DH just said Okay.
MIL looked down at SD and said "Fine. Didn't want to sit by you either." Ouch.

MIL flew back home lastnight and DH took SD over to her grandparents house so she could spend some time with her BM's side of the family. Including two other 1/2 siblings. She will be home Sunday night Smile Smile Smile

Wow what an ungrateful brat! I'm impressed with your MIL though, good for her for not catering to a brat AND calling her out for being one Smile
