In laws - what is their problem?
Carthartic rant warning - long!!
I don't know why it still bothers me, after years of the same treatment, but it does. My in laws, singling out the women in DH's family in particular, MIL and SIL (female cousin too to a much lesser extent - when we announced our engagment she just looked at me and said DH has had his wedding, second wives don't deserve one) just can't seem to accept me. Or like me. Or really acknoweldge me.

Anyone have a cheap husband? (petty rant)
Hi all,
Just a petty rant to get some things off my chest which have been burning me up the past while. Does anyone else have a DH/SO who is cheap with you and your family? Bonus points if he is cheap with your family but was the opposite with his "first" family?

Would you accept a (forced) apology?
Would you accept an apology from your skid/s who have been estranged for years, after committing some really heinous acts and treating you like garbage? I was reading another recent blog about a long term estanged SD who had suddenly initiated contact to her BD, and the anxiety the SM was experiencing surrounding the fear of what will or could happen should the SD make a come back into their lives. What really jumped out at me was the poster describing her fear of being blamed by her DH for the situation.
