Stepson got in trouble today at school " what a big surprise" not

So 9 year old SS threw his folder at the teacher today at 8:30 this morning. School starts at 8:00 am. He told DH that the teacher asked him to put away his books and he didn't want to do so. This is not the first time he has thrown stuff at the teacher. DH told the teacher to send him to the principal's office which she refused to do. DH is at work now so he will not be home to discipline him. I have no idea what to do because what I have been doing(taking away video games, tv, and toys) even spanking is not getting through to him. Any advice?

Hi guys, I just found this site and I'm glad I did. I'm currently married and have one bio child who is 8 years old I'm expecting a new child in July and have one step child who is 9 years old. He is the reason why I joined. I am having the hardest time being a parent to this child.My husband has full custody of the child because his mother is unfit she has 6 other children by different fathers that she doesn't take care of also. When I met my husband he told me he had a child but that the child lived with his sister.
