Another realization about the situation regarding SIL and SD: this is the exact same thing she did to both her ex husband and the friend she lived with after. Got mad at them and all of a sudden started claiming they were abusive. 

Makes me wonder if she's the one pushing BM to take SD fulltime and get all the welfare, since that's the same thing SIL did.

If you are really concerned about SIL and the potential that her tactics could create potential issues for you and your own children why not get a restraining order against her? Even if it doesn't stand up in court, you are doing something proactive, you are doing something to stop her from coming to your home, you are letting her know her crazy tactics won't be tolerated by you. It's just a thought.

I considered it if she contacted me again or if she showed up again. I don't think she will. And I don't plan on there being any visits with SD in our home anytime soon- public spaces only.
