Hey! Im new to this and not really sure how to navigate. I've been a step mom for 5 years and it has never gotten easier. I would like to talk with someone who understands!

Welcome aboard! Feel free to just start a blog or visit one of the forums and read a bit. I was a "lurker" here for many months before joining, just so I could learn to navigate the site and "meet" people.

I'm new here as well! I am also a stepmom and have been for 2 years. It is by far one of the biggest challenges. I spend a lot of time crying over it..........thinking that I have made the second biggest mistake of my life. I want so badly for these feelings to go away but they won't!!!!!! I use to be so happy and now I am always down. I feel like I am just not good enough for my DH and the skids!! Sad

I'm a couple weeks new too and it's the greatest site I ever stumbled across on. It's comforting to know we are not alone...very therapeutic for me. I have been married going on 8y. 3skids (stepkids, learning the abbr. will help) and I have 2 of my own. With any marriage it takes work, right? So hang in there. The X aka BM (bio mom, baby momma) and skids will make it hard for you and DH (dear husband) DONT GIVE THEM THE POWER. It's your life, your place as well and your and your DH rules!
