Still not better but I'm going to try to do the basics. When he comes home, just tell him to do his homework.If he does, great! If not, oh well. When I cook, if he eats it, great! If not, oh well. I'm down to wits end and I don't want to lose me again. I have become a raging ninkompoop and I hate it. I greatly appreciate all the comments so far. It comforts me in a way to know that I am not alone!

I'm trying to figure out what I am and what I'm not supposed to worry about.It seems like I'm never doing enough.

About 2 hours ago, DH and SS ate a bowl of cereal so I assumed that is what they were having for dinner since no one asked what was for dinner. I make me food about 30 minutes ago. Just now, (DH at work) SS asked me when was dinner. I told him he already ate cereal and that was what they had for dinner. He proceeds to yell at me that that was his snack and NOT his supper so now he needs supper. I tried to explain that I didn't know that was a snack and I got yelled at again so 815 bed time. Sigh...

I have been with DH since SS11 was 5 and I still do not know how to be disengaged. It hard not worrying about this that affect your life so negatively. But I would've put him in the corner for talking to me like that and sent him to bed with no supper.
