I really hope SS5 skips out of the "Mommy and Daddy together" phase all together. He's never known them to be together. The most he ever says is: "when I was a baby, Mom and dad used to be friends" and our response is "that's true" or "yep" Even though they were pretty much done with each other before he ever entered this world.
Fingers crossed for you, it's a little annoying for sure. Sounds like you may be in the clear for this, but SD was 2 when her parents seperated so i'm really not sure where this is coming from. My only guess is BM saying little things to her that may be influencing her thought processes on her dad and I.

It is the worst when the skids start wondering about mommy and daddy's relationship. SS soon to be 10 said "no one ever really told me what happened with my mom and dad." AWKWARD. I just muttered something about people growing apart. (They split when he was 2).
SD was in utero when they split and she is trying to figure out the concept of when and how her parents were ever together. She thought that if mom and new boyfriend had a baby that they baby would come to our place for visitation. Poor kid is very confused... it doesn't help that BM lies to her and tells her absolutely nothing.
