Had it's moments. DH had to travel Saturday re some issues with his ailing Father-so we exchanged V gifts before he left (I got some flowers and a beautiful hand painted dark wood jewlery box).

That left me and Zippy (peacefully sleeping until noon-THEN Zip had to work from 12:30pm-9PM- )

I had a girlfriend over for dinner and a chick flick-lots of fun-

The weekend got marginally better as Zippy had to work again yesterday 12-9pm-

DH was back and said to Zippy-

"There is no one here to get you up for your Sunday shift"

Zippy pulled the
"Aw Dad don't you trust me-you NEVER trust me" :sick:

Zippy has a tendency to sleep throught shifts that interrupt his getting out of be at 1pm on the weekends.

Soo it is a long weekend here and we have today off-Zippy is peacefully sleeping (it is around 11AM)-and will crawl out of bed at the crack of 1pm-make a full bacon and egg breakfast to eat ON the brand new living room sofa-thereby leaving grease and remenants of his breakfast ON said sofa-and I will walk by (as I do every weekend to say):

"Zippy, in this house we do not eat our meals on the new sofa in the livingroom-is there something wrong with sitting at the table?"

To which Zippy will glower at me and not so silently wish I would drop dead.

I am thankful Zip is working now and when he is home is gaming-it is some help-thank goodness he is not 6 or something-with his personality type.

I have been Nanny 911ing him for the past year (when I choose to engage) so Zippy does not like me so much.

Oh Well-such is life...
