What happen to Mother's Day?
So earlier this week BM messaged SO to know what time the SO would be bringing the kids back Saturday for Mother's Day. He replied they would be back by 9AM Sunday as the paperwork said.
She also tried saying the kids had some event Friday night and they wanted to go and he informed her that he would be following the visitation agreement.
Everything seemed cleared.
Pick up kids Friday. A from school then M from moms. A had a present for mom but hid it in the jeep because she wanted to give it to her on Mother's Day..
Thought no problem BM seems to care and we've been led to believe she'll spend Mother's Day with the kids.
Nope turns our SO gets them home and finds no one there so he had to drop them off with one of her family members.
I understand BM works but she made a big deal about Mother's Day. Made it seem she'd be off. Didn't so poor A saved the gift to give her today and she won't even see her till tomorrow after school which means gift will still be at the family members home.
Just bothers me that BM didn't even care to send a message, BM's boyfriend wasn't there for the kids, still haven't heard from BM about why there was no one home, and kids end up spending the day with different family member when they thought they were spending it with mom.
We made a big deal of letting them know that this weekend was different since they were going back early and were suppose to go to her. I can't imagine how they felt standing at the door of home and no one answering. I can see A holding the present she was so careful with all weekend to make sure it stayed safe and mom's not even sent a text to let us know plans changed.

Most likely she ended up
Most likely she ended up working. Which is completely understandable but she should have let the kids know. She should have let us know.
They believed they were going home to her and were disappointed when they got there and nope. Off to someone else.
If we didn't live an hour away SO would have just brought them back to our place.
