So who'd have thought that I would have this many posts in a row bearing good news!

Saturday couldn't have worked out any better. SS got to pictures on time, got to the eye doctor on time, he doesn't need glasses, he even got to his game before it started (we thought he'd have to be late as per the eye doctor). Mic got to talk to his coach, exchange contact information, and get a copy of the game schedule, and all his buddies came to his party (except one that had ear surgery that day... understandably enough). He had a great time at the party and made out like a bandit. They got to spend a lot of quality time together between Friday and this afternoon (we got home from church late, as the service ran over a bit).

It was hard for Mic to take him home, but at least everything went well. Now we're trying to figure out a way to get him for Easter, at least to take him to church. Not sure how that's going to pan out, though, because BM is apparently trying to decide whether or not they are going on vacation. I guess we'll see. After having been so lucky this weekend, I'm not all too sure it will hold out. But we'll hope so in the meantime.
