my blog cont'd
Went over to BF's for the wknd again.Tried to think positive. He made sure I got there and then said BM was coming into his pub on her birthday. He has compared me unfavourably to her before and I haven't met her/coping.
I was upsetabout her coming but wouldn't have stopped it and told him so.I had a drink and told him how upset I was that he rarely cared about my feelings.BM btw never has 'SS' any weekends or even part, most bdays or mothers day if it falls on weekend. She wanted her present off him.
I did not meet her.I got my BF to say something polite to her,it was OK.Amazingly BF suggested she have 'SS' for 3 hours sat, amazing she agreed.
Sat night comes,'SS' back.BF now working (he doesn't tell me this either).'SS' and me in bed (not literally!) BF wants to go to a landlords PARTY that night. This is the guy who says weekend time is family time, doesn't like me seeing friends at weekend. He was drunk so I suggested 'No' as I wanted him to take 'SS to Kung-Fu the next day.
He wanted to.OK,go.He came back 5 30 am out of his skull.Next day he gets up and almost took his son in the car.DRINK DRIVING.Luckily he fell asleep.I do sometimes take 'SS not this time,BF annoyed me.I did take him out briefly later.
Later on I complained of his behaviour. He told me to F OFF,he did it to GET BACK AT ME for me moaning Fri night etc and all I did was moan-what he means is, he doesn't care if I'm unhappy.I said I would be going to my friend's bday party next week.He said he hardly ever went out and he was still seeing me and 'SS'.If I was at my home I wouldn't see them.Good God.
Later he apologised. Yes, I know some things are the same.Do you think this man is behaving apallingly to me and his son?

Stupidity is an equal
Stupidity is an equal opportunity condition.
You know the answer to your
You know the answer to your own question.
Believe in you and your instincts.
Yes, I think he is behaving horribly. That is a given.
The question should be what are you going to do about it?
How often does he drink? How often does this happen? How many times are you willing to put up with it?
My heart is with you. This is tough, and I completely feel for you. You deserve better. We deserve better as stepmothers/girlfriends, as woman and more importantly as humans.
Hugs from across the globe.

I do not think anyone deserves to be treated so harshly.
but I think you know the answer anyway.
you have read the blogs and comments on here.
You are a good/sweet person YOU should be treated as such.

if you try to carry it on your shoulders.”
Um, yes.
He's treating you badly, not that you didn't already know that. The real question is what are you going to do about it?
