what is BM up to???

ss16 let it out the last visit that BM is thinking of adopting 2 little kids, girls....
what is this woman up to?? it has never been a secret she wanted girls and her new hubby had one but she's now graduating HS like ss18 and will be leaving. she will still have ss16 and her new baby 4 - also a boy. so why not pay attention to your other two kids - boys, lets get 2 new girls!!! this woman's out of her mind. good for her for taking in needy kids, but i'm sure there's motive here. there is no way our support should go up because she chooses to adopt right???
she told DH she would file the paperwork to get support for ss18 dropped off the order, DH of course is letting her do all the work because then it means he wont have to....i just think this is an all around bad idea and i'll be curious how this plays out....

I wouldn't think your support would go up since she is choosing to adopt. Legally, the parental responsibility would be on her and her DH, not your DH.

i didnt know if there would be some "well her money is now supporting 2 others so your money needs to be increased since she's CHOOSING to take away from your child"

in my opinion she doesnt take care of her own children that well, but they're BOYS and she wanted GIRLS.....

That is the exact same reason why we had such problems with BM being a foster parent. If you can't handle your OWN children, why in the hell would you not only get MORE to take care of but then expect YOUR children to help YOU with THEM?!?!?

But hey, if you have your first baby when you are 16, and that girl has HER first baby at 16...I guess that is a good mother, right?!??

OH and i forgot, if she adopts older children, it's for the built in babysitter.

I see that the Behemoth is allowing a teenaged foster boy to look after Prince Hygiene (SS8 )
