I remember there was a post a few weeks ago about SDs and Victoria Secret so I thought I would share this.

We've had some snow here in NC, and since we don't normally get snow they can't handle it. SD11 and SD15 had off of school Friday for a teacher work day, Monday for President's Day, and Tuesday and Wednesday for snow days. They were going stir crazy! My work was also slow so I decided to take them and 2 friends to the mall for a bit on Wednesday afternoon.

I had to get a few things myself so I let the 4 girls go off on their own while I ran errands. I bought some makeup at Clinique in Belk (department store - I only buy when they have the free gift), some jeans at Limited, then went to Victoria Secret. I had one of those "free panty, no purchase necessary coupons" so I went to pick it up. As I turn a corner in the store, I run smack into SD15 and the rest of the girls. She is mortified as they are all looking through the undies. Her friend, 15, thinks I am cool and is like "We're just shopping for some, they're on sale". SD15 is all red and stammering and I just laugh and say "You can buy whatever underwear you want as long as they don't have slutty sayings on them" and then got in line to pay for mine.

We have a close relationship, but I think she was embarrassed at the thought of me seeing her buying thongs, and probably grossed out at the thought of me buying one that her dad would see. LOL!

After that we rejoined and shopped together for the rest of the day. Both girls brought their own wallets and paid for their own stuff, except I gave SD11 $20 to afford this really cute sweater she liked but didn't have enough money for.
