Get a load of this schedule

So beginning April 1st we are on the new placement schedule recommended by the GAL. Though the court hasn't officially ruled yet, we have decided that since the skids (11 and 9) and GAL have stated they like this schedule, its just a matter of time before it becomes official. Our only consolation is that BM hates this more than we do, as now since skids are there opposite BM fiance's kids they will have no time w/o kids there. DH figures that if she hates it so much, let her spend the money to fight this. We've spent thousands of dollars trying to have a fixed placement schedule ordered that provided more stability than what we had (which was essentially BM just picking which days worked for her). So check this out: Beginning April one the schedule goes
DH BM DH DH DH BM DH BM DH BM BM DH BM DH BM BM and so forth. There really is no rhyme or reason to this other than BM gets the skids on her days off and there's a nine week rotation of this where every week is different. I literally had to take an hour to plug into Outlook all 9 weeks as the GAL had it written with each day repeating every 9 weeks. Yup lot's of stability here. this is what 6,000 dollars will buy you.

That is so confusing!! Back and forth during the week is so hard on kids. I think every other week or every four days is best, IMHO. If/when I leave my H I would fight tooth and nail for a one steady home for/during the school week--it is just to much back and forth.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Better buy pocket calendars for everyone...

it blows my mind how retarded the legal system is. how on earth can this possibly be good for anyone? especially the kids! i can't imagine it will last very long. good luck in the interim!

Sounds like some sort of practical joke by the GAL. Maybe an early April Fool's....?

So sorry. for you guys and the kids.

I hate it when kids have to ask "where am I going tonight" They sound homeless. I hate that for you and the kids!

Needless to say DH hasn't talked to the GAL but she seemed to try to work on a deal before DH heads to trial.

BM only agreed to 1 kid 100$ 2 kids 50% and cs paid to her. Yeah right! DH attorney stated that if the deal is 100% in your favor...don't agree. The attorney didn't even consult DH about that offer he just said no. The attorney keeps saying he has a good case but then we are paying over 10k for him.

The point is that BM only sees the green in money so let her keep spending.....DH goes to trial DH asked for attorney's fees. BM never asked for that.
