Child Support
So my husband and his ex signed divorce papers back in 2005 that stated he would provide his W2 every April and depending on his income going up or down so would the child support...well for the last year we all agreed (me, my husband, ex-wife and her husband) that we would leave the amount of the child support as is which is 1550.00 per month for two children plus my husband pays 500.00 per month for insurance. So because we all came to a mutual decision and were even at one point hanging out together with the kids just having dinner and stuff and we were able to talk peacefully we all still just never brought up the W2...nor do we really go by Holiday visitation or Summer Visitation we just would always talk it out and go from there.
My husband recently took my SS8 to a bunch of Drs appts due to the fact he may be bi-polar, depressed, or on the spectrum for Asburgers and one of the appts required 300.00 up front then they will file the insurance then re-emburse (sp) when the insurance paid. Well, at that time we were going through a little rough patch with money so my husband called his ex and asked for half of the 300.00 (which is in the papers that they split all copays etc) she flipped out saying he was a snake and is now saying she wants his W2 and if he does not provide it she will get a court order and get it.
My husband and I have a 3 year old son together and the law in our State has changed...it's no longer 20% of his salery ...it takes into consideration both Mother and Father's income and I'm sure since we have a son now that will affect things too...for the good for us...just wanted some opinions about everything just to get outsiders opinions...
By the way when we were together for little "family" get togethers I bought the ex's daughter with her now husband a 50.00 outfit for her 2nd birthday part because I love the little girl and curtains for her room and babysat her one day so the ex and her husband could go to work!! :jawdrop:
