Recently my neighbors were telling me about there child custody case...they apparently were able to get online (google case net + state) and you can look up cases on anyone or at least in our state (MO) anyway my neighbor put in names of BM and kids and discovered BM had given guardian ship of kids to a friend without telling BF she apparently had a drug charge against her and if she didn't do something kids would have gone to DFS...BM apparently told judge that BF was not involved in kids lives and judge granted guardian ship to BM friends..anyhow my neighbors are now in the process of getting full custody of kids with the help of all this info.. so my advice is for all of you to look up names of BM and kids if you can you never know what your going to find...I found about 6 cases against our BM...mostly domestic, her other childs dad used to beat her so she has had several restraining orders against him but never followed through...well best of luck and happy hunting...

There is no case net site for the state of Florida, Though I did see where it exists for your state...hmm, wonder how I would go about finding something similar for Florida or Georgia?

Most courts have websites that make it possible for you to look at public cases for any individual. We put in BM's name in the court website here and found out she had 21 Domestic Violence situations and from the website we got the case numbers and took those to the court house and paid for copies of them. It's completely legal because they are PUBLIC records and were not sealed.

BM was pissed when we brought these to court with us

How did you get the court website address? I would love to check on bm and my ex as well.

I just went to Google and typed in Case Net Mo. for my state and it allows you to put in the name if there is anything it should be there if you all do not have any luck I would inquire about public records or cases its worth finding out trust me...

I tried both of these states and both required a user name and password. In order to obtain these they charge a monthly fee t subscribe.

If you know the county in the state that you are looking for court cases it's easier. Alot of times each county has there own website

My DH found it very helpful that in the area where his ex lives, they put online FREE info regarding court cases, police reports, drunk driving incidents, motor vehicle accidents, just about everything. You can even find out if there's a warrant out on someone. This was how we found out that the stepfather had beaten up the mother in front of the skids and all sorts of other stuff. This was during a really bad time when we had ZERO access to the skids and were freaking out. As soon as we found this out, we understood why she stopped our contact with the kids... so we wouldn't find out about the abuse and try to take them. Even if you can't get it online, police reports are a matter of public record. You can call the local police dept., give the address and ask about any calls made to that address.
