SS21 in hiding

So after the "petty" incident SS21 has been getting up after we leave in the morning and coming home late at night.

I am convinced he's doing his to avoid me. Which makes my life way easier.

When SS21 does run into me he is being halfway pleasant, which is a huge change for him.

I have started vacuuming before I leave for work in the morning.

I give extra attention to the carpeting in the hallway in front of SS21's bedroom door. 

DH keeps offering to vacuum when he gets home from work in the evenings but I don't mind doing it in the morning, that way I know it gets done...hehehehe.

Speaking of DH, I told him the I am not SS21's equal and that SS21 needs to move out after graduation or I will. I'm done living with the selfish entitled man-child. DH said nothing, he knows better.

202 days until SS21 graduates.

I'm just biding my time waiting for SS21 to move out.

DH said last night that it is awesome when SS21 is not around.  I couldn't agree more.

I find that hallways really do need more attention when vacuuming, the longer the vacuum is run, the better. Biggrin And, it's a nice little workout for you. In fact, vaccum twice as long, so you can work both arms.

The dust and dirt seems to hang out in the corner by where the door is hinged Wink

I'd redecorate the hallway while your at it.  Hang some paneling, with lots of nails to hold it up.  LOL  Or a treatment with lots of strips of wood that make a pattern on the wall that needs lots of nails to hold it up.  Get creative with it !
