I can't believe it's been 10 years! Our anniversary is in a few days.  DH is proud of this milestone, he never made it to his 10th anniversary with BM. He and I keep joking that this is his first-last 10th wedding anniversary. 

DH and I are in a good place now, it wasn't always that way, we've worked really hard at our marriage which makes this anniversary special.

The SSons still drive me nuts but at least now DH sees why I'm upset and makes an effort to back me up, the Daddy blinders are gone for now.

SS16 is driving and has gotten a part-time job. He is growing into a great young man.

SS21 on the other hand - I can't wait for SS21 to graduate college (June 2019). DH and I are both in agreement that he is moving out after graduation. We can't deal with his selfishness anymore.  DH has finally reached his braking point with him as well. SS21 is living with BM right now; he'll move back when school starts.  I'm not looking forward to it at all. It has been so nice this summer without all the SS21 BS.

DH swears he's going to lay down the law with SS21 when he moves back, but I doubt SS21 will change. DH (and I) want him to do chores around the house, or pay rent. I am being realistic here - SS21 will not bother; DH will probably have excuses; I am still trying to figure out for myself how I want to approach this.  

I changed jobs in April, transferred to another department. It was unexpected as this department approached me. I like this job so much better than my old one. I can actually leave work at work I'm also taking an online certification course, it ends in a couple of weeks. I'm glad I'm doing this but it will be nice not to have to study every night. Summer + School = Not fun!
