Hi friends!

Just a life update, so after many tests and an MRI, looks like I have gallstones -one about 3.5cm- but quite a bit in there.  I have a fatty liver but the lesion and cyst are benign!  They do want to do an ultrasound type scan that identifies the stage of fatty liver, though she did say it wasn't too advanced.   They want me to have the gallbladder removed,  I'm hesitant, as I also have Barrett's and Gerd, IBS which causes extreme bloating all the time, diabetes, etc...They claim there won't be any long term effects, however I read tons of stories where diarrhea, acid reflux and bloating got worse, and there is NO coming back from that and I'm already suffering from this.

I've made a drastic change to follow the Mediterranean diet (with modifications because of all my other health issues)- and so far I have not had another gallbladder attack and feel my health improving digestive wise.

I was out of the country for 5 days for a work/training- my flight back was delayed over 6hrs.  Now I'm sick, felt super tired upon return, then yesterday the scratchy throat and earache, today I feel like hammered dog poop.  I did a home covid test and it's negative, so it's probably the usual - I catch some viral respiratory during travel and now it'll turn into full blown bronchitis.  Haven't had one in a long time.  I have a work event on Sunday, don't know if I"ll be ok or not for it. I plan to do a PCR tomorrow if I can just for safety reasons of course.

Things at home all hang by a thread, honestly I don't know what I"m waiting for in pulling the plug- oh wait, I do...finances.  I try and make the best of things, but it's really hard.

All my pets survived w/out me being here when I traveled, so that was good.

Well good to know that your spirits are in a good place and your pets survived!

Take care of you...

So much on your plate!! I'm happy about the test results; benign! Yeah!

I've had my gall bladder removed and without being too gross, yep...diarrhea is a thing. I go between normal "soft" to the D word. It's been about 18 months since my surgery. No bloating, though.

And like you, I caught something on my last flight out West. Thought it was Covid and ended up being just a darn head cold.

Sorry about home life. I know that's got to be difficult. Big hugs.

Wishing you the best!!!

I do hope your health issues resolve.  It can be frustrating when its one thing on top of another.  Take care.

I had my gallbladder removed.  It stopped the bloating and painful attacks.  I haven't had any negative side effects and am so glad I had it removed.
