at a possibly BED BUG infested hotel that is actually almost TWO HOURS AWAY from home!!

It is all about control with abusers. You are better off coming up with a lie like that then to flat out tell him no.

Make him leave his luggage outside after he returns. The last thing you need is bed bugs ewwe.

He actually doesn't have a choice either. His employer is paying for it. I think he thinks this is going to be some sort of "romantic getaway" with me driving almost two hours both ways.
