Just a quick vent: Teenagers!  I’m glad the SDs feel comfortable to make toasted cheese sandwhiches here when they are hungry.

i wish they: would use the regular butter, not the Kerrygold butter kept for special meals (which does not include Sat night teen feasts), cleaned up their mess, didn’t inexplicably leave a pair of long boots in the kitchen by the sink, throw out their fast food wrappers, because Daddee was acting straight from Disneyworld and went out after they trashed the kitchen because the little dears wanted French fries and frosties because they were apparently still hungry, adding their bags, cups and fry wrappers to the mess of the already trashed kitchen.  

Of course earlier in the day he begged me to run to the store for the very cheese and bread they used because he was sooo tired, but an evening run for fast food was just fine.

So when I finally leave my office where I’d been watching a movie to find this mess?  Well Daddee and the last one up ended up cleaning late last night as I mentioned how unacceptable leaving the place such a mess was, and buying me a small French fry wasn’t nearly enough to bribe me.

Thankfully, this is not the norm, nor will it ever be!  Before learning about disengagement, I would have made this my problem.  

Now I make sure he who does not provide oversight will be he who scrubs and cleans.
