Advice needed for Monday a.m.
Hi STalkers, I need some advice on a situation DH has coming up Monday a.m.
Normally, he drops SD off at school/daycare. If neither option is available, he is to meet BM at 8 a.m. at a neutral spot. This Monday neither is available as day camp is over for the summer & school begins later in the week. SD has been staying with BM's father on BM's days if she's not at day camp. School orientation is at 2 pm Monday.
BM asked DH to drop SD off at her home at 7:30 Mon. DH replied that he would just keep her until the orientation at 2. BM says "That's not our agreement." DH says neither is your house at 7:30 & I have ROFR. So if she's going to your dad's, I'd prefer to just keep her for a few extra hours. BM says no, now she'll just stick to the CO & meet at 8 in CO'd location.
I'm sure this is because BM does not want DH showing up at the orientation with SD, getting chummy with the teachers & other parents, etc. before she arrives. That would tarnish her MOTY reputation. Also, her ass is chapped because we keep refusing her repeated requests to do exchanges at our home.
My question: should DH just not show up at 8 & keep SD until orientation at 2?

She is doing it to be
She is doing it to be difficult, agreed. How ever, she could file a report that he is not following the CO and if you go to court later it could present a problem.
Stick to the co and go to the
Stick to the co and go to the school like foxie said. Win win
I don't know about the laws
I don't know about the laws in your state. But, if he doesn't show up at the agreed upon location, BM can get the police to go to his house and get your SD. When we first divorced, I had to do that several times with my ex. Each time it happened, I was given a report, which I could use in court if I chose too.
Have your DH drop her off per the agreement. And then he should do what the others have advised. Go early and befriend the teachers. Let them know that he is an interested and involved father.
