I am sitting here with Fox News watching the heart breaking coverage of todays school murders of 10.

Why, why did this kid do this? Why ...HOW on earth did he walk into the school with a rifle and handgun(?).  He took his dads gun and killed all of these people? Then reports the shooters intent was to kill himself. 

This afternoon I am most grateful to see my kids walk thru the door. The parents who's teens were killed today...OMG I just can not imagine their grief. They would have to hold me back from running to find my child to hold them one last time.

I just don't get it. I get emotional issues and even thoughts of suicide but killing others like that? So tragic.

Here in Fairyland (and I suspect many other countries) we do not understand this either. My heart goes out to the parents, the staff and particularly the kids caught up in this when all they do is go to school. The schools need to be closed until they are safe- I wouldn't send my child to a place where they may be shot??? The power to change this has to be in the hands of both parents and staff...
