heres the scoop: bf's unemployment checks are getting screwed up, we cant pay our rent this month. all the agencies in our area are out of funds. we have no family to help us cause they are in the same boat. neither of us have a checking account and cant have one. right now we have dinner for the next few days but nothing for breakfast or lunches. the food banks are only on certain days and they dont provide actual meals, just little bits of stuff. we already get food stamps but you cant feed a family of 4 on 270 a month.

what can we do? we both have crappy credit, real bad like 400 something. i dont think we can get a payday loan cause theres no bank account. does anyone know of any place that is pretty easy to get a personal loan with bad credit and no bank account?

we are so desperate, especially with the holidays coming.

I'm sorry for you. I can't remember from past blogs, do you have a job or car? You can get a cash advance against those for like 400% interest..which is crazy. You have to have the title. You'll have a terrible time ever paying it off.

If you don't have a job, waiting tables is the best way to get cash in hand quickly. the last suggestion would be to ask a church for help.

thank you all for the advice. right now i dont work and currently have many applications out for numerous jobs. no call backs yet. it seems to be a hassle to find work. if it were as easy as going in and telling them when i could start, i think all unemployed people would be working right now. but because of the economy, places dont/cant spend the money on new workers, which is why i was asking for advice.

i checked the blood banks and the closest one that pays is like 3hrs away from me.

What about taking some things to a pawn shop? Or holding a yard sale for things you really don't NEED?

I would also suggest going to temp employment agencies. Sometimes those jobs can turn into full time jobs. Hell's bells, that's how my hubby found his permanent job.

Okay, another idea for BF...and might sound odd...but sperm bank donation? Sometimes they pay money for donations. Just a thought.

Have you checked local churches? Are you or BF members of any "clubs" or organizations, like VFW, PTA, stuff like that?

I hope it works out for you. It's very scary, and I pray things start looking up for you soon.
