I am just sick. Oue case has been going on for 18 months now with no end in sight. DH had to go on disability because of his MG. His income was cut in half so BM's child support was cut in half. She files in June 2008 for more child support, sole custody and 1/2 medical expenses that she never turned over and we didn't know existed. We still haven't made it to trial, our lawyer's fees are now in excess of $8000.00 and there is no end in sight. There is another case management hearing 2/22. I swear this is all a money making racket for the lawyers and the judges go along with it because they used to be lawyers themselves. It has drug out because of course her lawyer wants to see if DH will go back to work. Her reason for wanting sole custody.....because Dh supposedly calls " petitioner vulgar names that she then has to explain to the five year old child" The kid goes to a counselor but of course none of this is in the counselors notes. SS-7 has never told the counselor we do something like that. The only people who have heard SS-7 say this is BM and her mother. We have hundreds of emails from her and yet she has never mentioned it to us and believe me she bitches about everything we do. The petition also states that there has been a break down in parental communication. If that were true why would we have hundreds of emails entered into evidence? A breakdown in parental communication would be nice just so we don't have to put up with her unending BS. We have no idea what to do at this point and are sick at the money we are bleeding out. How do we put a end of this nightmare short of walking away?
