OSD finally texted DH back today around 3pm. Almost 24 hrs after she was suppose to be here.

"oooooo I totally forgot about our dinner plans. I am sick and after the photos (they were getting pics taken) I came back to mom's and slept. I just now saw your text"

Really? Doesn't everyone use the "I am sick excuse" when they don't want to do something. You just now saw his text? And his phone call. Almost 24 hours later? Yeah sure......You were suppose to come after getting pics taken. Why wouldn't you call then and say you weren't coming over? Or that you were sick?

She was only here for 1 weekend, hasn't seen DH in 18 months (except when she came over for an hour the day before- when the dinner plans for last night were made).

Thankfully she made herself look bad I know DH is pissed about it and his feelings are hurt.

I so want to (but won't) msg her and say "Ahh too bad you were sick and couldnt make it over. Your Dad had a Visa gift card for you guys." Ha ha we all know how motivated skids are by money.

I dont like OSD and dont care that she didnt come over.

But I do find it so freakin rude when people make plans and then blow people off. This is a big pet peeve to me.

And even more annoying how the girl skids always whine and cry how they miss Dadddy and never get to see Daaddddyy and when plans are made they are broken. THIS is exactly one of the reasons why I started having issues with the skids because of crap like this. It's just rude.
