So, DH has decided that he wants the hearing transcripts from the motion to change custody back in January 2012 and the hearing regarding a show cause motion the following April (for those of you who are unfamiliar, that was the hearing we had due to Medusa not paying the fine that DH was awarded AND it took place just two days after we discovered that Medusa had been emailing the skids all kinds of terrible things including how to harm my beloved kitty Sheba).

I pushed for this years ago, for lots of reasons, including the fact that Medusa said some interesting things at both hearings that DH may need in the future to refute whatever bullshit story Medusa may have if/when she ever gets in touch with the skids.

Anyway, he has finally decided that he wants them. I called the Judge's clerk this morning and told her the two hearings I wanted transcribed from the docket. Keep in mind, these hearings took place almost 6 years ago.

Me - hi there, I would like to order blah blah blah blah

Clerk - okay, the cost is one dollar per page. I will listen to the recording and will be able to give you an estimated cost, which must be paid before I do the transcription. What is the case number, please?

Me - the case number is blah blah blah DH'sLastName vs DH'sLastName

Clerk - *sucks in breath* I remember you guys. THAT was an interesting time, huh?

Me - you have no idea. Can't believe you remember us.

Clerk - Oh yeah, I sure do. In fact, we ALL do. Mrs. DH'sLastName was, well, let's just say memorable.

Me - again, you have no idea. I am just glad we haven't had to deal with her in all this time.

Clerk - *sucks in breath again* What? Really?

Me - yep, 5 years and 11 months with no contact, which is a good thing for all involved.

Clerk - wow, just wow. Well, I should be able to get back to you in a day or two with the estimated cost.

Me - Okay, I will wait for your call.

Yup - that's Medusa alright. Let's just say, well, memorable
