Looks like someone filed her taxes...

and we got the refund :-)  DH just texted me "well, what do you know?  $2500 payment coming today."

It has to be her federal refund, there is NO WAY that Medusa would cough up that much money on her own Smile

Now she's only $3668.74 in arrears.

Her support will go down to something like $417 as of the first of July.  Wonder how long it will take her to get paid up?

Well.. how about that.  I would purposefully do something fun with that money if at all possible!  I mean...you already subsidized her missing money with your own.. so this isn't really child support.

Here's to hoping she will get caught up.. but based on her past history.. doubtful.

Well, DH and I are headed to Chicago in May to celebrate our anniversary :-)  I think it's poetic justice to use that money to pay for our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, don't you??

Excellent Idea!  I used to live in Chicago, best city,  Try and get a reservation at Girl and the Goat, if you can.  You will not regret it, but they book out.  Also go to Molly's Cupcakes and get the vanilla cupcake with vanilla icing.  I'm not a cupcake person normally, but it will change your life!

I lived in the city for a number of years :-)  LOVE Girl and the Goat, but we will check her newest venture. Duck Duck Goat, her take on Asian cuisine.  A trip to Molly's is definitely on the itinerary, too!!

Thing1 lives on the same street his dad and I did when we were first married :-)
