Has anyone ever just wanted to punch their SO?????

Why do men have to be so damned stupid sometimes? Can anybody answer that question? It's like they're genetically pron to sticking their foot in their mouth and then they have no idea why you're pissed off.

My SO last night decided to let me know that he has decided to change the date of when we are going to try and get pregnant. No, not just decided, just told me like the decision has already been made. Of course being a man this was not something that was talked about between the two of us. He is basing it off of financial reasons, which I can understand. But wouldn't you think that if your going to make a decision that affects somebody else that maybe you should run that by them first. I know that I would do that for him. And then he couldn't figure out why I was so pissed. I have a time line for when we can do this. My mom had everything removed by the time she was in her mid 30's and was experiencing issues before that. I am going to be 30 this year and this form of cancer does not skip a generation.

I am so pissed at him right now.

yes, and it is best to restrain from that impulse.
Have you told him that he cannot unilaterally make that decision? Because he cant. That is definitely something that he has to talk through with you.

I won't actually punch him. LOL. Though I think he would get the point a lot faster. And the date we chose was a year from now. To me that's already kind of pushing it.

It's just frustrating. He says that he want's to have a child with me. We have even began talking about names. For him it's a financial thing and I understand that but for me what happens if the waiting for financial stability means never having a child together? Is it worth it? What's more important?

Since I'm going on month 10 of trying to get pregnant, does he even realize that he may not even get any say in it at all. You could turn up pregnant the 1st month or it may take a year (not to freak you out). All I can say is its not always easy for everyone and you can plan all you want but nature does what nature does.
