Update to awww, hellll... / baby fever

StickAFork's picture

Yeah, I'm cured. At least for now.

I'm back at the library working on my project, and there has been a screaming kid who WON'T.SHUT.UP.

And this is a HUGE library, and I'm nowhere near the kid wing, so you can only imagine how loud he's hollering.

Seriously, take the brat outside, will ya?!?!?

I'm officially not interested in dealing with that shit again. No more crying babies/kids for me!

I have BD4 with DH. After she was born he had a vasectomy at my request. A few times I called him at work asking if it could be reversed. Then the kids get home from school and it cures me!! I do NOT want to go thru all that again. I want my life back one day. BD4 will be going to Kindergarten in September and all I want to do is go back to work already!!! Holy hell I need to get out of this house. Thank god we had him fixed when we did!!!

I think you are 37 like me. You don't want to start all over again. Then if you want to go out you are looking for a babysitter. You won't get sleep for awhile. Just the thought of being pregnant and all fat and bloated is enough to turn me off!!

Smile That's funny!!! Sorry you have to deal with the screaming kid when you're trying to get some serious work done, but glad you've "come to your senses"

Seriously!!
Not long ago, I had taken my ENTIRE family out for a nice dinner at a "nice" restaurant. Not super nice, since they still allowed kids. Wink
I was paying for everyone, and we were celebrating my son's birthday.
A couple came in with what appeared to be a 5 year old (not a baby!!) who promptly started screaming and kicking the table because he wanted his food NOW! OMG. It went on for 15 minutes, and mom just kept saying, "now, honey, shhh, food will be here soon."
I don't care if the kid was autistic or just a brat. Take him out.
I'm the kind of bitch who walked over there and asked them to take him outside because he was ruining MY son's birthday dinner.
Their jaws dropped.
But they didn't leave.
Five minutes of screaming later, I went to the manager.
They left.
I'm a bitch like that.

If I didn't listen to MY kids doing that shit, why would I listen to someone else's brat doing it?!?

Try four hours on a cross country flight sitting next to a baby that screamed the ENTIRE time. I think it made my ovaries shrivel beyond repair.

I was 21 the first time I got married, and we had our first child just before my 31st birthday... intentionally... then had our second child when I was almost 34. There is NO WAY I would want another one. DD is now 15 and DS is 12 and although I enjoy every moment with them, I continue to look forward to the day they have both flown the coop.

LOL!! I got stuck on a a 1/2 flight like that...thought I was gonna kill someone.

It was a grandpa who insisted a damn 4 year old sit in a CAR SEAT on the flight. Sir, if the plane goes down, I'm pretty sure that seat ain't helping!!
