update on SS moving back in with us....

Smile Things have gone amazingly smooth. He has been out everyday putting in applications, or online. Today he had 3 interviews!!
He asks before he gets into anything, to make sure its not for his dad's lunch or a special treat of ours.
Cleans up after himself. Other than seeing him coming or going, it's almost like hes not here. If he won't be home that night, he calls/texts ME to let me know. He has helped out when I need help, even without me asking.

Umm, alien invasion? In all seriousness that is awesome. It shows a lot of respect and that he is making an effort. Hopefully this is a turning point and things will be mostly positive from here on out!

OMG how wonderful! how did you achieve this? I am about to suffer onslaught from SS22 whom DH is tomorrow going to inject back into our family life after I kept him at bay and living elsewhere for 3 months on the basis that my OBS16 has important studies. The studies are just today over... and only this evening I heard DH ask him round here tomorrow early! And so it will begin. Any tips, please definitely pass on.

Honestly?! I have no idea LOl. I just always treated him like my own. I was hard on him and he has come to realize that I was doing it because I cared about him. So maybe that has something to do with it! (If you ask about his other brother---that one is a lost cause)
I think it depends on the kid, if they really want to change or not! I just thank my lucky stars that he's wanting to change
