After SS13's last visit with his mother and the chaos that ensued as a result of her finding out that I am expecting, we asked DH's mom to spend some time with SS and talk with him. She's a real straight shooter and the kids love and respect her immensely.

So in addition to giving him a bit of hell about how he better love his new baby sister when she gets here, she also said, "If I find out you're not treating her well, things are going to change between me and you cuz that's my grandbaby!" LOL - love that woman!

Anyway, she also called us after we dropped SS13 off for his visit with his mother to tell us more of the discussion. SS13 shared the following information with his Grandma:

"My mom asked me, you know that Step Off is pregnant, right? And you know what that means? Well, you're not going to be Dad's baby anymore and he's not going to have any time for you anymore. If you think he doesn't spend time with you now, well, it's going to be a lot worse when the baby gets here. And the baby is going to be so cute she'll basically replace you and you won't get any of his love."

Can you believe that anyone would say this to a child?
THIS IS A MOTHER CONFIRMING EVERY DOUBT HER CHILD HAS!

Prior to SS's visit with his mother last time, we let him know that his mom now knew that I was expecting and that she might want to talk to him about it. He hadn't wanted to share the info with her previously as he knew she would have an unpleasant reaction so he told us that he was going to say that he just found out.

This woman is pure evil.

MIL was so upset she was even suggesting that she invite BM over to her house and she tell her how it is- with her fists, LOL. This is a woman in her 60's. LOL.
