Well folks, I just made it through THE FIRST EVER SICKNESS THAT SD HAS HAD WITH US. And it was terrible, let me tell you. The poor kid had a fever for four days and was spouting from both ends, not to mention the terrible whining and waking up multiple times/night. I had to leave work early on both Monday and Tuesday to watch her for a bit, which I didn't mind, but boy am I glad she'd better now. I know the child couldn't help being sick, but that was a new experience for me...it made me rethink having kids of my own, lol. And to top it off, do you think SO has gotten insurance on SD yet so that she could go to the doctor. A big, fat NOPE. I gave him those insurance forms in July, and he's had the info filled out for months. On the positive, he did admit that I was right and he should have sent the application off months ago.
